Zhinan Yin received a BS degree from Hubei Medical University, China, in 1984, a MS degree fromShanghai Second Medical University, China, in 1988, and a PhD degree from Free University Berlin, Germany in 1997. Having completed his postdoctoral training in Section of Rheumatology, Yale School of Medicine, USA, he worked as an Associate Research Scientist in the same institute, USA(2001-2006),then he was promoted as assistant professor.He moved back to China in 2007 and joined the faculty of Nankai University as a professor in College of Life Sciences, Tianjin, China. He is currently a professor in the State Key Laboratory of Medicinal Chemical Biology, Nankai University.
