Pingchuan Sun is currently a professor (since 2005) in the Key Laboratory of Functional Polymer Materials of the Ministry of Education, Institute of Polymer Chemistry and College of Chemistry, Nankai University, Tianjin, China. He obtained his BS and PhD degree of Physics from Nankai University in 1982 and 1994, respectively.
He has published over 130 scientific papers in Advanced Materials, Macromolecules and Biomacromolecules, among others, with a total of 1200 citations. He has received awards including the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2008 and Tian-juan Wang Magnetic Resonance Award of the Chinese Physical Society in 2006.
