Rongcun Yang obtained a BS degree in ShanDong University School of Medicine, Jinan, China in 1983, and a PhD degree from Karolinska Institute, Sweden in 2000. After completing his post-doctoral training at the Johns Hopkins Medical School, he became a staff in 2003 at the same university. He moved his laboratory to China in 2005 and joined the faculty of Nankai Universiy, Tianjin. He is currently a Professor of Immunology, Nankai University School of Medicine.
