Brief
Introduction
Yuequan Shen obtained a BS degree in Chemistry from University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing, China, in 1995, and a PhD degree in Molecular Biology from Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Science, Beijing, China, in 2000. He joined in Brandeis University for his postdoctoral training in 2001 and then moved to the University of Chicago as a Research Associate in the same year. He was promoted to be a Research Assistant Professor in 2006. He moved back to China to join the faculty of Nankai University, Tianjin, China, in 2007 as a Full Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He is currently a Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Medicinal Chemical Biology at Nankai University.
